PMOL Contest: (As The Sun Sets)

Artemis stepped out into the royal gardens. They looked up at the sky, walking towards their favorite spot. They sat down to watch the sun set and the lustrous moon rise.

"Soon shall be Mother's time to shine," They said to themself. "And what a wonderful time it is."

Suddenly, they heard a loud rustle in the bushes. They whipped their head around faster than a pegasus' wings. An intruder? An attack?! They started to twist themself around when a figured started to appear...

"Heya Artie~!!"

A jumpy Jam Sandwich came galloping. She wore a big grin as she made her way to Artemis' side. Artemis' face contorted in anger and suprise.

"Jamboree! Please do warn me when you are to make a visit!"

"Aww c'mon, Art, lighten up! You look like a granny with all those wrinkles."

"W-we do not look aged. Our maturity is only in our actions."

 Jam sat down beside them.

"Y'now I'm just kidding."

Jam scooted nearer and leaned against Artemis. A blush started to form on their cheeks.
Slowly, Jam began to put her hoof on Artemis's shoulder. When Artemis finally noticed, their cheeks turned an even brighter crimson.

"J-Jamboree!"

"Isn't it a beautiful sunset?"
